Cinemax Theatre stands upto the reputation of the fast catching Pacific Mall, Subhash Nagar. The Theatre has got six screens and has got nice setup. During my visit i booked for the cheapest ticket avaialble i.e for 12pm show at Rs 100 per ticket for Executive class seats. Out of the six screens, hall 5 & 6 appears to be having slightly smaller screen than their other screens. I was booked in Audi 5, a nice and cosy theatre which had a seating for around 70 odd people. Reasonably big screen and very good sound system. Songs from Salman Khan’s movie READY were sounding great and i felt like dancing sometimes.
The washrooms, snack counters, staff and the facilities makes it almost the best value for money option. With SPAR HYPERMARKET in the basement, it provides additional option of shoppping some household stuff with family, after one watches the movie.

Indian boys overcame what appeared to the biggest hurdle between them and the World Cup’11, by defeating the mighty Australian’s. Australian’s didn’t go down without a fight. Unlike Pakistan vs West Indies match, the second quarter final match between India and Australia turned out to be an even contest as expected.
At one stage while chasing, Indian batting looked like collapsing again before Yuvraj and Raina applied breaks to it. They put up a brilliant partnership to take India to a win. The match had everything Ricky Pointing & Sachin Tendulkar’s master & craftful knocks, brilliant fielding by both the teams and sensible batting by the Indian middle order.
India winning this contest has setup another big treat for the spectators, India now will play Pakistan in the Mohali for a place in Finals. The expectations and pressure was already clearly visible from Dhoni’s post match interview at the presentation ceremony.
Yuvraj Singh was awarded man of the match for an all round performance with the bat and the bowl.

Crisis escalates as blast blows hole in reactor building and exposes nuclear fuel to atmosphere. The nuclear power plant exploded and sent low levels of radiation floating towards Tokyo, prompting some people to flee the capital and others to stock up on essential supplies.
The crisis appeared to escalate late in the day when the operators of the facility said one of the two blasts had blown a hole in the building housing a reactor, which meant spent nuclear fuel was exposed to the atmosphere.
Fearing the worst, countries & companies have started evacuation. France sounds the Alarm and says Japan isLosing control.
Overheating, meltdown woes mount at reactors. As the radiation steam rises, hopes are falling.

Honda, Toyota, Nissan and Suzuki who were planning aggressive strategies for India’s top growth market were hit hard by Japan’s quake and face serious supply chain disruptions.
The only silver lining is India’s relatively small dependence on Japan. Auto experts said higher levels of localization levels and cost concerns prompting most Japanese car makers to import from Thailand would help the Indian subsidiaries.
Maruti Suzuki’s Hamamatsu plant has not been affected and the parent is using the Nagoya airport for air freight. Still, Maruti imports a number of components from Japan, and the problem gets worse as a number of its Indian vendors, too, source from the tsunami-battered country.
The Japanese auto industry has been severely impacted by the national tragedy. Honda has suspended production at all the Japanese plants till March 20 and is in touch with its vendors for exact damage assessment.
Toyota’s Indian unit, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, postponed the opening ceremony of its second plant scheduled for this week.
