India overcomes Australian test to reach semi final
Mar 25th
Indian boys overcame what appeared to the biggest hurdle between them and the World Cup’11, by defeating the mighty Australian’s. Australian’s didn’t go down without a fight. Unlike Pakistan vs West Indies match, the second quarter final match between India and Australia turned out to be an even contest as expected.
At one stage while chasing, Indian batting looked like collapsing again before Yuvraj and Raina applied breaks to it. They put up a brilliant partnership to take India to a win. The match had everything Ricky Pointing & Sachin Tendulkar’s master & craftful knocks, brilliant fielding by both the teams and sensible batting by the Indian middle order.
India winning this contest has setup another big treat for the spectators, India now will play Pakistan in the Mohali for a place in Finals. The expectations and pressure was already clearly visible from Dhoni’s post match interview at the presentation ceremony.
Yuvraj Singh was awarded man of the match for an all round performance with the bat and the bowl.

Team India getting ready for the 2nd ODI against South Africa
Feb 24th
The match between India vs South Africa 2nd ODI is all set to be played at Captain Roop Singh Stadium, Gwalior today. The match will start at 14:30 IST. Ahead of the match, the security has been tightened up in Gwalior.
The result for 1st ODI which ended up with India winning thriller at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, doesn’t signal and edge to any of these teams. Both teams would stand a chance to win the 2nd match and should look forward to a tough match ahead. Dhoni’s team had a tough time while bowling with all the bowlers taking beating from the Saouth African tailenders Wayne Parnell and Dale Steyn.
