Now per second billing plan from MTNL too
In reply to the Tata Teleservices, Bharti Airtel and Reliance Communications launching per second billing systems, here the state-run telecom service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) Tuesday announced per second billing plane for its 2G and 3G customers in the Delhi and Mumbai circles.
According to the new plan all calls made within the MTNL network will be charged half paisa per second, while calls to other networks across the country will be charged one paisa per second.
SMS rates have also been reduced to 25 paisa for local, Rs.1 for national and Rs.2.50 for international messages.
MTNL will also provide video calls across its 3G network for one paisa per second.
