Update on British Airways cabin crew strike

Good news for British Airways travellers as BA officials have announced that they have beeen able to expand their flight schedule up to 30th March 2010 because of the increased numbers of their cabin crew now wishing to work as normal.
The website claims that BA would fly more than 75 percent of customers booked to travel during this period despite unjustified strike action.
BA has now published the shorthaul flying schedule for 31 March and 1 April and are expecting to operate a normal shorthaul schedule from 2 April.

Following flights will operate normally and changes to bookings on these flights are subject to the original fare rules:
•All flights to and from London City
•All flights to and from London Gatwick
•All flights operated by our subsidiary, franchise, alliance and codeshare partners
British Airways announces service withdrawal to some destinations in Summer 2009
May 7th
Heathrow to Dhaka
- No service during Summer and Winter 2009
Heathrow to Calcutta
- No service during Summer and Winter 2009
Gatwick to Zurich
- No service during Summer and Winter 2009
Gatwick to Geneva
- No service during Summer 2009
(Where possible, Zurich and Geneva customers will be reaccommodated onto services from Heathrow)
BA7/ 8 to/from Tokyo
- No service during Summer and Winter 2009
British Airways: 2009 Summer flight schedule changed

British Airways will be moving a small number of European services between London Heathrow Terminals 3 and 5, as a result of changes to the Summer 2009 flight schedules.
From 29 March 2009, Flights between London Heathrow and Nice will move into Terminal 5. Flights between London Heathrow and Vienna which at present operates to and from Terminal 5, will now move into Terminal 3.
The BA airlines will also move flights operating between London Heathrow and Malaga into Terminal 3.
This flight moves mean that all British Airways Heathrow flights to and from Spain will operate into and out of Terminal 3 and flight connections will be easier for customers connecting from Nice to the British Airways worldwide network.
