Jet Airways Special Offers for women travellers on International Womens Day in March 2010

JetViva ( Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline ) will offer its women travelers special benefits and offers in March 2010 to celebrate International Women’s day.
As part of the same, customers will enjoy a 10% discount on base domestic fares and a 5% discount on base international fares (excluding applicable taxes and surcharges) for every group with at least 1 woman traveler that makes bookings on the airline’s website at jetairways.com, for First Class, Premiere or Economy travel on all routes operated by Jet Airways or Jet Airways’ Konnect service.* The offer effective March 1 to March 31, 2010.
Additionally, all women Jet Privilege members who travel on Jet Airways, Jet Airways Konnect and/or JetLite from March 5 to March 15, 2010, both within India or overseas (with the exception of code share services), will earn an additional 500 bonus JP Miles.*

Mumbai Airport : 6hour Maintenance on Tuesdays till March 2010

Mumbai airport begins a major upgrade today. One of the Mumbai airport runway to remain cloased for 6 hours today for maintenance.
The runway will stay closed for 6 hours on every Tuesday starting today for next 22 weeks. Maintenance will continue till 8th of March on 2010. Over 100 flights is set to be effected by this maintenance. This maintenance will increase the flights handling capacity of the airport.
Jet Airways and Jetlite has already announced rescheduling of its to and fro flights for Tuesdays from Mumbai Airport.
Fly cheaper now to London with Jet Airways

India’s premier international airline, Jet Airways, has introduced special fares to London from several Indian cities. The fares are effective for travel from 11 May, 2009 to 30 June, 2009.
There are attractive offers from Jet Airways airlines for return Economy fares to London. To avail of these fares passengers must complete their booking by May 31, 2009.

* Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jaipur London via Delhi economy return base fare would now cost only Rs 12,500/-.
